However unlike the short scale Ozarks, it features a well balanced 25.5\" scale Canadian maple neck and fretboard and a mahogany body. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis one is cherry red and is finished in a translucent nitrocellulose paint with a bound neck and body and chrome 'South' logo's.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt has a single Lollar Goldfoil pickup with CTS concentric volume and tone pot that sits on a custom made stainless steel\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e plate. It has an on\/off switch that acts as a treble cut, allowing you to bypass the tone. This way you can roll off the tone for a down dirty sound and then flick the switch for a punchy treble tone... effectively given you two pickups for the price of one ;)\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOther features are Kluson tuners, a Gotoh tune-o-matic bridge and a Supro style tailpiece. The neck is a comfortable modern D shape, not too thick, not too thin... it feels really comfortable in hand.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMade in Melbourne right here at Southside Sounds.
