What is your consignment rate?

18%. We work out the seller price with you with an eye on market value. No lock-in contract, you can end the consignment at anytime, just contact us and if it hasn't already sold we'll take it down from the website and off the shop floor. We cover all shipping and transaction costs. All domestic shipping over $150 is free - Southside Sounds covers that cost. 

Is my consignment instrument safe?

All instruments in the shop are fully insured, including those on consignment.

Can I get cash for my instrument, rather than putting it on consignment?

Maybe, never say never, come and talk to us at the shop or drop us a line. 

Do you have a warranty?

Whilst we check over all our secondhand instruments before we sell them, we can't give a warranty. However we have a 3 day grace period on all secondhand instruments meaning you can return the instrument for any reason as long as its in the same condition as it left the shop. Manufacturers warranties apply to all new items bought in the shop.

Shipping? 

We ship worldwide, this is usually calculated at checkout through the online store. Or you can send us an email (info@southsidessounds.com.au) and we can give you a quote.

FREE Domestic Shipping? 

We offer FREE domestic shipping for purchases over $150 to all OZ metro locations, which also includes most medium to large country towns. If you are outside the Free shipping zones we will organise a competitive shipping quote. ***Excludes Northern Territory, Far North Queensland and some remote WA locations***

Most orders are dispatched via courier within 2 business days. Once collected from our store we will send you an email so that you can track the order as it travels to you.

We insure all shipped goods.

Please do not use PO boxes as the couriers can only deliver to a physical address. 

International Shipping? 

For international shipping, if your location does not appear at checkout send us an email with your location / postcode or zipcode and we will organise a shipping quote for you to consider. 

Bulky items? 

For bulky items such as large amps we can organise freight quotes for you, again just send us your postcode. 

Alternatively you can organise your own freight and we will happily package the item up your item for you.
