So we have reset the neck, re-radiused the fretboard and given it a refret. Then we added the original DeArmond goldfoil from 1963, CTS volume and tone pots and switchcraft jack. It's also got a vintage Russian paper in oil capacitor, and it sounds amazing. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's got a chunky baseball bat neck that is typical of these guitars. However it's comfortable to play, kinda more like an acoustic guitar neck. Definitely not a shred machine! \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat's unusual for these guitars is that it still has it's original headstock badge and pickguard... more than not these go missing somewhere between 1964 and 2023!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBoth James I were stoked with the way this guitar came together. It's way cooler than the price tag suggests.
